Holy Diver! 80's metal has been reborn! Betrayer is a band from Canada, they are definitely on the top three unsigned bands that I've heard. I'd label them under Thrash/Power/80's Rock and Roll; but "Halford" knows that they posses some of the thrashiest riffs I've heard in a while great vocals and a very solid fan base. Songs like "Descendants of Death" and "Wretched Ways" are proof that Betrayer is a perfect combination of Thrash Metal and Power Metal, a combination that is rarely used by metal bands of today and another thing is that they have absolutely no death or black metal in their music, which is great because nowadays most thrash bands are a combination of death and thrash.
